NATURAL STRAW PAMELAS FOR ALL AUDIENCES
Straw is a fundamental material in human history due to its multiple functions. It serves as food for animals, construction material, crafting substance, paper... and also for making natural straw pamelas.
Braided straw is ideal for crafting summer pamelas because it effectively blocks sunlight while allowing heat to escape from the head, preventing heat accumulation.
In our online store, you will find high-quality, very resistant and long-lasting straw pamelas. You have multiple designs to choose from: with straight or wavy brims, in various directions, with more or less rounded crowns, taller or shorter, in different colors...
You will notice that many of the pamelas here are unadorned. Dare to personalize them by adding the accessories you like! Our online store will not be short of options for you.
Overall, if you are looking for a summer hat, do not hesitate to consider Artipistilos!
WEDDING PAMELAS
Pamelas are characterized by their large brim, which can be straight or wavy. The crown is usually low and round, although there are many variants of this type of hat that can differ significantly from this description. What they all have in common is the large brim, a feature that makes the pamela an ideal hat for sunny days, which is why it is also known as a beach hat.
There are many types of pamelas that, depending on the design, are suitable for a day on the beach or for a special event like a wedding. A morning wedding pamela usually features bright colors that stand out and draw attention.
At Artipistilos, we have pamelas for every taste. Small pamelas, large pamelas, lilac pamelas, black pamelas, blue pamelas... And don't forget, we make custom pamelas! Contact us and tell us in detail what would be the pamela of your dreams.
WHAT IS NATURAL STRAW?
Natural straw refers to the dry stalk of certain plants from the grass family, especially that of cereals like wheat, oats, rye, among others. Straw is obtained after the grain is separated through threshing.
Traditionally, straw was acquired after threshing in an enclosed space called a 'threshing floor'. It was stored to feed animals, keeping it in bales or sheaves in barns, sheds, or more recently, silos.
Throughout much of history, straw has been one of the most important materials for humans. It not only served to feed the animals that ensured sustenance but also to make a wide variety of things: roofs, floor insulation, baskets, paper, chairs, hats of course, and much more. It has also been a source of fuel.
Although the Industrial Revolution displaced the load animals, and with them, the need for so much straw, it is still used as a manufacturing material for furniture, ornaments, and accessories.
