NAME: GREAT OFFER ON HAT AND FASCINATOR STORAGE BOXES
At Artipistilos, we have a wide range of hat and fascinator storage boxes to keep all your creations or your collection of hats and fascinators in perfect condition. We offer storage boxes in multiple sizes, shapes, and materials.
The simplest and most practical are the transparent plastic boxes. They are very inexpensive and allow you to see at a glance what is inside them, making them ideal in case you have a large collection at home or in a warehouse. You will be able to identify the fascinator you are looking for quickly!
It is certainly true that the aforementioned boxes serve a more practical than aesthetic function. If you want to keep your hats or fascinators in beautiful boxes, you will also find them here. We have striped fascinator boxes, white fascinator boxes, and fascinator boxes with various illustrations.
No matter which box you choose, we provide models of different diameters so you can fit any type of hat, wide-brimmed hat, or fascinator, no matter how large it may be.
Finally, in this section, you will find more than just fascinator storage boxes. We also offer smaller boxes in very different shapes so you can store embellishments, tools, materials, and whatever you need.
WHAT IS A FASCINATOR?
Fascinators are a type of decorative garment attached to the hair and worn on special occasions such as weddings or funerals. Unlike hats, which have both an aesthetic and practical function, fascinators serve solely as a decorative element.
The world of fascinators is vast. You can find fascinators with flowers, fascinators with nets, diadem fascinators, fascinators with feathers, fascinators with veils... Some are very simple, others are so elaborate they seem like sculptures. Undoubtedly, a world full of beauty!
In our online store, we offer the most demanded fascinators (fascinators for weddings, bridal fascinators, or fascinators for funerals) as well as unique and spectacular pieces suitable for all kinds of grand events.
The world of hats is no less extensive and rich, and in our online store we have all types, shapes, and colors.
WHAT ARE HAT BOXES?
If you are an expert craftsman in making hats and fascinators, where do you plan to store your creations while they await a buyer? Conversely, if you are a regular buyer of hats and fascinators, where will you store them while not in use?
This is not a trivial question, as the answer depends on the proper conservation of these accessories. Many people tend to store them in boxes along with other belongings or even loose in closets. Big mistake! This way, it is very easy for the crown to be squashed, the brims to bend, or the decorations of the fascinators and/or hats to come off.
The best way to keep hats and/or fascinators intact for many years is to store them individually in hat boxes or fascinator boxes.
What are these storage boxes? They are boxes that, for the most part, are cylindrical in shape and tall enough to fit the crown or decorations of these accessories without any issues.
WHAT IS PVC?
Many of our fascinator boxes are made from a material called PVC. But, what is PVC?
PVC stands for Polyvinyl Chloride, the chemical name for this type of plastic, a result of combining carbon, hydrogen, and chlorine. These components come from crude oil (43%) and salt (57%). It is a thermoplastic, meaning that when sufficient heat is applied to it (between 140°C and 200°C), it softens and returns to its initial consistency at room temperature.
PVC enjoys a host of positive properties that make it extremely versatile:
- It is very lightweight and easily transportable. Moreover, it resists impacts very well. Both properties make it ideal for making boxes that do not add much extra weight.
- It is inert, so it does not decompose easily, even when exposed to the elements.
- It is non-toxic, not releasing harmful substances, which is important for making children's products.
- It does not propagate fire.
- It is waterproof and protects food well, which is why many lunch boxes are made from this plastic.
- It is very transparent.
- It has an excellent quality/price ratio.
- It is 100% recyclable.
All these characteristics make PVC one of the most popular plastics in the world. Here are some of the applications it has across multiple sectors:
- Construction: pipes, windows, blinds, flooring, roofing and swimming pool waterproofing, etc.
- Packaging: bottles for all kinds of liquids (water, oil, vinegar, juice...) as well as containers and tubs.
- Medicine: tubing and bags for serum, plasma, and blood, surgical gloves...
- Automotive: door panels, dashboards, electrical cables, window gaskets, upholstery...
- Electrical and electronics: insulation for appliance and industrial machinery cables, junction boxes, electrical conduits, plugs...
- Agriculture: waterproofing of irrigation ponds and canals, pipes for irrigation and drainage, hoses, plastics for greenhouses...
- Toys: dolls, balls, inflatable toys...
- Furniture: outdoor and office furniture...
- Footwear: shoes, rain boots, sandals...
- Leather goods: bags, suitcases, wallets...
- Stationery: folders, book covers...
WHAT IS A STORAGE BOX?
A storage box is an object used to place other objects inside for storage, transportation, or even for display in a shop.
Boxes can be of many sizes and shapes, although they are usually rectangular prisms. They also have an opening at the top that is covered with a lid or with several flaps in the case of cardboard boxes.
The material of the box often determines its use and the objects it will contain:
- Wooden boxes are typically reserved for personal valuables, high-quality products (cigars, bottles of wine), fruit and vegetable products, or for fragile and heavy cargo (engines, small vehicles, machinery...).
- Plastic boxes are ideal for preserving all kinds of food until sold in the supermarket.
- Corrugated cardboard boxes are the most common for the transportation of goods.
- Cartons are used as primary packaging for small products (perfumes, food, tobacco, toys, detergents...).
- Metal boxes are used for very special, exclusive, or luxury products, like jewelry. Large metal boxes are typically used for transporting industrial materials.
- The flap box or folding box consists of four side faces closed both on the top and bottom by four flaps. They are very versatile and stacking-resistant. They are manufactured from a single piece of cardboard joined by stapling or gluing.
- The box with a lid has a cover included in its own structure.
- The box with a lid and base is composed of two independent pieces, the tray, and the cover that goes on top.
